Alexandra “Zanna” Tennant is an Associate Attorney at Narins Defense, P.A., where she represents individuals facing criminal and traffic charges throughout Minnesota. Zanna is committed to compassionate, client-centered advocacy, combining thoughtful legal strategy with clear communication and genuine support. She understands the stress and uncertainty that often accompany criminal charges and strives to ensure every client feels heard, informed, and supported throughout the legal process.
Zanna earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2023. Before joining Narins Defense, she spent two years as a Judicial Law Clerk in Ramsey County, gaining valuable courtroom experience with a particular focus on juvenile criminal matters. Her work in juvenile court sparked a passion for advocating for young people navigating the criminal justice system.
During law school, Zanna gained additional experience with the Anoka County Public Defender's Office, the Innocence Clinic, and the Detainee Rights Clinic. These experiences strengthened her commitment to protecting individual rights and ensuring that every client is treated with dignity and fairness.
Originally from Rochester, New York, Zanna graduated magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she studied Russian Language and Literature. Outside the office, she enjoys playing soccer, glassblowing, international travel, and exploring the Twin Cities.
